Exploring Identity through Zines: Workshop
This special workshop for adults and older teens (ages 16+) will allow participants to explore their identity through the expressive craft of ZINES! A zine is a self-published work that utilizes printed images and text, cut and photocopied, then arranged in a collage-style. This zine workshop will be a hands-on opportunity for participants to either work alone or collaboratively on their own zines. The library will provide staplers, basic drawing supplies, paper, adhesives, scissors, discarded book scraps, scanners, and limited free photocopying. All participants will have the opportunity to also add a finished copy of their zine to the library’s special circulating collection.
