FAIRLANE TOWN CENTER PRESENTS A BLACK ART LIBRARY POP-UP EXPERIENCE

To expand the public’s appreciation for Black art, Fairlane Town Center, a three-level super-regional shopping center in the Detroit market (www.ShopFairlane.com), has partnered with Asmaa Walton, arts educator and founder of Black Art Library, to present a Black Art Library pop-up exhibit on the upper level near the Macy’s wing for just over two weeks this month. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays now through February 26th, the center will host a collection of books and Black-themed visual arts. Visiting hours for the exhibit are generally noon to 6 p.m., but may vary; guests are encouraged to visit the center’s website for details.
