Trade First Hosts Holiday Bartering Expo
Trade First, an industry leader in the trade and business-to-business barter industry and one of the nation’s oldest and most established trade networks opens its exclusive holiday expo to the public for the first time. Guests will enjoy complimentary small plates and drinks as they shop for holiday gifts from more than 75 vendor booths, network with business owners involved in the barter and trade community and even drop off a business card to enter to win a two-night trip to Las Vegas.
In the United States, approximately 500,000 businesses are involved in trade and barter exchanges. Trade First has brokered more than a billion dollars in trade since 1978 in more than 1,000 categories of goods and services.
The Trade First community buys and sells goods and services from each other without spending any cash. Members use their own private internal currency, the Trade First trade dollar. Businesses earn trade dollars (instead of cash) that are deposited into their account. They then are able to purchase goods and services from other members utilizing their trade dollars.
