Join rising saxophonist Alvin Paige for The Next Chapter, an afternoon of contemporary jazz featuring Kevin Eisenberg on piano, Langston Kitchen on bass, and Louis Jones on drums.
A recent graduate of Michigan State University, Paige has quickly become a standout voice in Detroit's jazz community, earning opportunities to perform alongside acclaimed artists including Charles McPherson, Rodney Whitaker, and Wynton Marsalis. Known for his soulful sound and expressive artistry, Paige brings a fresh perspective rooted in the rich tradition of jazz.
Presented in partnership with The Carr Center, Detroit's cultural arts organization celebrating the African American experience through exceptional performing arts and arts education.
