Educators Night in Detroit's Cultural Center


Join us for the third annual Educators Night, a free evening hosted by the Detroit Cultural Center Association designed to connect teachers, school administrators, and educators from across Southeast Michigan with the rich educational and cultural resources of the Detroit Cultural Center and its nonprofit partners. This district-wide open house invites educators to explore field trip opportunities, meet institutional professionals, and discover hands-on learning programs and student wellbeing resources. More than 50 arts, cultural, and educational organizations will be on-site, sharing resources exclusively for teachers in a unique and immersive environment. Event Includes: -Free admission for all educators. -Light refreshments and teacher giveaways. -Classroom-ready materials from participating organizations. -A Detroit Cultural Center tote bag for pre-registered attendees. -Food trucks and other fun teacher freebies (while supplies last). Event Highlights: -Visit seven museums and cultural institutions across the Detroit Cultural Center. -Connect with fellow educators, museum staff, and nonprofit organizations. -Discover new field trips, in-class workshops, traveling programs, and summer opportunities. -Attend live performances and professional development talks throughout the evening. -Access curriculum-aligned resources, videos, and learning materials for your classroom. -Build long-term partnerships to support creative and inclusive education. Participating Museums & Cultural Institutions: -Detroit Institute of Arts - Art & Design Education -Michigan Science Center - STEM Education -The Wright Museum - Culture, History, & Theatre -Detroit Public Library - Early Childhood Development and Literacy -Detroit Historical Museum - History Resources, Natural History, & Geography -Wayne State University - Educational Wellbeing -The Carr Center - Music Education Registration is free and required to attend.
