This year’s honorees include women from Michigan and beyond making strides in STEAM:
✨ Outstanding Leader Award: Helen Taylor, Mchigan State Director, The Nature Conservancy
✨ Outstanding Educator Award: Kisha McKee, 6th/8th Grade Science/STEM Teacher and Science Curriculum Coordinator, Thompson K-8 International Academy of Southfield Public Schools
✨Rock Star Award: Dr. Jingmai O’Connor, Ph.D., Associate Curator of Fossil Reptiles, Field Museum of Natural History
Since 2018, Women Rock Science supporters have helped provide 5,400 STEAM outreach programs to 164,500+ students in 540+ schools across 400+ school districts.
Your attendance and proceeds from the event will help bring more STEAM programming, delivered by Cranbrook Institute of Science educators, to Pre-K through Grade 12 students in under-resourced communities throughout Michigan.
