Since 2018, Women Rock Science has raised more than $1.6 million to support STEAM programming delivered by our educators to Pre-K–12 students in under-resourced communities across Michigan—including Detroit, Hamtramck, Pontiac, Flint, Southfield, and beyond.
Funds raised through Women Rock Science are dedicated to inspiring curiosity in all children about STEAM fields and careers, with a special focus on young women. By fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking, Cranbrook’s STEAM programs are shaping the skilled, innovative workforce of tomorrow. These funds directly support outreach initiatives, bringing transformative educational experiences to thousands of students across Michigan.
