Commonwealth Community Development Academy Hosts FREE 2026 Back-to-School Festival
Commonwealth Community Development Academy will host its annual Back-to-School Festival on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 13477 Eureka St. (at the corner of East Davison) in Detroit. This year’s event celebrates the school’s 30th anniversary and three decades of helping Detroit families prepare for the new school year.
The free community event will feature school supply giveaways, food, bounce houses, games, prizes and family-friendly activities. Parents also can complete student enrollment for children entering Pre-K through sixth grade and register to receive school uniforms on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Uniform shirts and jackets also will be available for purchase on-site.
