Campus Kids Day Back to School Bash

The school year is near, but summer fun isn’t over yet. Downtown Detroit Partnership’s Campus Kids Days presented by Corewell Health, returns to Campus Martius Park on Sunday, Aug. 17, for a Back to School Bash filled with free activities, giveaways and hands-on fun for the whole family. Event highlights include: 400 free backpacks (while supplies last) courtesy of Corewell Health Crayon bounce house, free airbrush tattoos, giant UNO and lawn games Exploration stations with the Michigan Science Center Make-and-take crafts courtesy of Metro Parent Complimentary Faygo floats (while supplies last) Birdies books onsite with children’s book giveaway Magic Shows at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Health and wellness instruction and more with Corewell Health team members Ticket giveaways: Detroit Zoo 4-pack and 313 Presents family-favorites shows (Gabby’s Dollhouse LIVE and Disney on Ice) Live Tigers baseball on the big screen Downtown Detroit Partnership, Corewell Health, Detroit Zoo, Metro Parent, Michigan Science Center and 313 Presents Campus Kids Days is one of the Downtown Detroit Partnership’s signature summer programs, designed to bring families together through fun, wellness and learning in the heart of the city. Presented by Corewell Health with support from the Detroit Zoo and Metro Parent, this free series builds community connection and provides valuable resources to help families head into the school year informed, supported and excited.
