The Cultural Divide, Red vs. Blue – How Did We Get Here? by LWVOA
The League of Women Voters Oakland Area is hosting a presentation, “The Cultural Divide, Red vs. Blue – How Did We Get Here?” by Matthew Grossmann on November 14, 2023, at 7pm at the Bloomfield Township Public Library. Dr. Grossmann is Professor of Political Science and Director for Policy and Social Research at Michigan State University.
Dr. Grossmann will discuss the impact of higher education on the cultural and political divide, the upcoming elections, and the effects of redistricting.
Dr. Grossmann is the author of several books including, “How Social Science Got Better: Overcoming Bias with More Evidence, Diversity, and Self-Reflection” Oxford University Press, 2021, and “Red State Blues: How the Conservative Revolution Stalled in the States”, is from Cambridge University Press.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
