Summer Sundays
Downtown visitors and Metro Detroit families can make the most of their Sunday afternoons at Beacon Park this season.
Summer Sundays will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. featuring crafts, engaging games, environmental learning stations for youth, hustle and line dance classes, a picnic pop-up station local vendors and more. Brunch and specialty beverages will be offered at Lumen Detroit, Beacon Park’s flagship restaurant.
From 3 to 5.pm. there will be beginner and Intermediate hustle and line dancing by the N’Namdi Movement Center with instructor Maurice Adams.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the Boll Family YMCA will offer free fitness sessions and wellness classes for registered participants of all ages.
