Spring Show + DIY Hands-on Heart Experience
Ready to experience the art of glass? Don’t miss the Annual Spring Open Studio hosted by Master Glass Artist April Wagner and the epiphany team in Pontiac on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is the first unveiling of all the spectacular glass we have been creating over the winter. You will be the first to shop our newest pieces in the gallery, see us making glass, or even sign up for your own glassmaking experience! This is a free event, open to the public, families with children are welcome.
What can I expect? The most amazing experience of your life! No matter if you sign up for one of our DIY workshops, watch us making glass, or just want to shop for the perfect Mother’s Day gifts, we are here to show you all the magic of glass. The furnaces run at 2000 degrees, but our art-of-the-art studio is perfectly climate-controlled and clean enough to make you think twice!
We love making glass and we love you will love it too! Think skydiving plus climbing Everest minus all the hassle and a LOT MORE FUN! This year we have opportunities for you to make a whimsical Bird sculpture or a sweet Heart Paperweight. Work with our talented studio artists to pick your own colors, watch a demo of the whole process, then hold the glass pipe, sit at the bench, use the tools, and let your creativity be UNLEASHED! We guarantee you will have a great time, and never forget how much fun it was. A perfect experience for families over the age of 6, or a cool unexpected fun date with a “friend”.
