ACCESS Care Package Assembly
In collaboration with Local UAW 600 and Friends of Médecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) University of Michigan - Dearborn, volunteers will assemble care packages filled with personal hygiene items to be distributed to local shelters, schools, refugees and residents in southwest Detroit impacted by the recent flood. Families are welcome and activities for children will be available such as crafts, card making for local children’s hospitals and more.
ACCESS will collect donations on the day of the event. The most needed items are personal, dental, and feminine hygiene products, pillows and blankets, and non-perishable food items.
