Ferndale Cinco De Mayo Festival 2024
Mark your calendars and get ready for the two-day Ferndale Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Mezcal returning bigger and better for its second year! 🎉
The FREE-to-attend festival will feature delectable food trucks showcasing authentic Mexican cuisine, complemented by a diverse array of beverage options available for purchase, in addition to live music, dance performances and more, ensuring a festive atmosphere filled with culinary delights and cultural experiences.
FANTASTIC FOOD
The festival will highlight an assortment of local food trucks in addition to Mezcal’s taco truck, which will be offering an array of the restaurant’s renowned tacos and flavorful, award-winning Taco Birria.
SHOPPING, SWEETS AND DRINKS
Michigan-based businesses will be selling traditional Mexican clothing, jewelry, accessories and more, including Frick’n Good Cookies and Happy Camper Ice Cream sweetening the deal, and selling delicious desserts. Thirsty attendees can stop by two bar tents offering a wide selection of refreshing beverages including beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic options available for purchase.
LUCHA LIBRE WRESTLING
Pure Pro Wrestling returns to the Ferndale Cinco de Mayo Festival presented by Mezcal for a second year, entertaining attendees with authentic Lucha Libre wrestling matches. Matches will be held at 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 and 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
LIVE MUSIC
The party will be rocking all weekend long with a jam-packed lineup of live music on the main stage located at E 9 Mile Rd. near Woodward Ave. From local DJs to Mariachi and Latin bands such as Los Astros, La Furia del Ritmo and Grupo Ilución.
KIDS PLAY ZONE
The Ferndale Cinco de Mayo Festival promises a family-friendly environment with a Kids Play Zone which includes access to inflatables, a mechanical bull and more at no charge.
