Everybody's favorite variety will be ready for picking on September 5th – September 7th! Honeycrisp is unparalleled in delivering juice, crunch, and sweet flavor. Once rejected by big apple growers and retailers alike, Honeycrisp's popularity grew from its fans at you-pick orchards throughout the Midwest. 🍎 Additionally, since our orchard is now more mature, we're thrilled to announce that we are now able to offer the traditional Wilson's picking experience at our Des Moines farm: no reservations are needed, you can pick as many apples as you want, and there are also discounts based on quantities! Come out and pick at your own pace; you'll find a wider variety of apples than you'd see at the grocery store, and maybe even discover a new favorite. For apple-picking, we recommend purchasing the $3 Tractor Ride, as it is 1 miles away from the entrance (20 minute walk). However, tractor rides are weather dependent.
