UScellular Will Light Up Sky with Free Drone Show
This holiday season, UScellular will spread festive cheer to greater Des Moines with a free drone light show on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to come together at Valley View Park for an evening of lights, magic and community spirit to celebrate the holidays.
The show will feature artwork inspired by the creativity of Tallgrass Theatre Company's Seedlings Children’s Theatre. The display will showcase the imagination of local youth, which will bring their original drawings to life in the night sky.
“We are thrilled to bring greater Des Moines together with a festive drone show,” said Monique Moore, UScellular’s director of sales and operations at UScellular in central Iowa. “Giving back is at the heart of UScellular’s commitment to connect people to what matters most, and we’re proud to support our local community this holiday season.”
As part of the company’s Gift of Connection program, UScellular also will give back to the greater Des Moines community by donating $5,000 worth of clothing, costumes, electronics, outdoor and sports equipment and technology to support Tallgrass Theatre Company’s Seedlings Children’s Theatre.
The donation is among 50 gifts to nonprofits across the country that support organizations dedicated to building connection through art, music and sports in their local communities.
