Outlets of Des Moines Hosts Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat with Donation Drive for Caring Hands
Outlets of Des Moines will host the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the concourse and is free and open to the public. Modern Custom Dreamz Car Club will feature over 20 special cars with trunks chock full of candy giveaways for attending families, who may also trick-or-treat at retailers providing complimentary treats. Families with children 12 years and under are invited to come in costume to collect goodies throughout the center (first come, first served, while supplies last).
Participants are encouraged to bring personal hygiene items and/or canned foods for donation to the Caring Hands Outreach Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult and should begin at the Food Pavilion to obtain their Halloween bag and to drop off their donation. Caring Hands operates out of 3 locations, providing a food pantry and supplemental food supplies as well as clothing and financial assistance to those in need.
