(FREE) Join us for an inspiring community event as Bruce takes on an incredible challenge walking 100,000 steps in a single day to raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
Bruce, a 74-year-old Public Safety Supervisor, has been living with Parkinson’s symptoms for nearly a decade. Despite his diagnosis, he continues to push himself physically and mentally every day. Averaging 30,000+ steps during his workdays, Bruce has set his sights on this ambitious goal as both a personal milestone and a powerful statement: movement is medicine!
Through his journey, Bruce has discovered that staying active: helps manage his symptoms. His philosophy is simple yet powerful: “The more I move voluntarily, the less I move involuntarily.” Now, he’s inviting the entire community to be part of that movement.
