Middlebrook Mercantile Light Up Ceramic Christmas Tree Workshop
Choose from three different sizes. Everything you need to paint your tree and make it light up is included. You will paint your tree at this event. Amy will bring it back to her studio to fire it. You will pick up your finished tree approximately two weeks later.
Because your tree will be special ordered for you, returns and exchanges will not be accepted. If you find you are unexpectedly unable to attend this event, you may send a friend to paint in your place, or you may paint your tree at home using acrylic paints.
When/Where Tuesday, October 21st, from 6:00PM until you're finished. The Mercantile will close at 8:30PM.
Pickup date for finished/fired trees: Thursday, November 6th at the Mercantile. If you aren't able to pick up your tree on this date, please let Amy know and we will make other arrangements.
Registration closes 10/2.
Instructor Amy Uthus has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics. She has been teaching workshops and classes for nearly two decades at her home studio in Knoxville, the Des Moines Art Center, Johnston Community Education, the After School Arts Program, RDG Dahlquist Art Studio, and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She and her husband have two young children. She enjoys gardening and reading in addition to art.
