Summer Cooking Class at Middlebrook Farm
Join us in person for a super fun and relaxed summer cooking class with Mary Jane at Middlebrook Farm!
Chef and food scientist Mary Jane Miller will be cooking at the Middlebrook Farmhouse for a summer cooking class celebrating the best flavors of the season. Mary Jane has cooked for three Minnesota governors and developed recipes for Betty Crocker Test Kitchens, Pillsbury, Food Network, and Target Corporation. Today, she lives on her Iowa farm surrounded by chickens, gardens, and honeybees, drawing inspiration from the ingredients growing just outside her door.
She will show you how to prepare and enjoy fresh summer dishes including Sweet Corn Gazpacho, Grilled Watermelon and Feta Salad, Cantaloupe with Prosciutto and a Honey Balsamic Reduction, a Late Summer Garden Sauté featuring what ever looks good at the farm. There will be wine pairings with each dish provided by Delicato Family Wines.
