Join us in welcoming Terri Stephens-Higgins! Terri is an Iowa children's author whose story (and book) was recently featured on KCCI. She will be at Barnes & Noble in Jordan Creek Mall to sign copies of her first children's book, Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane. Come in and learn about her inspiring story as you pick up your copy of this adorable book.
About the Book
Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane is written with a tender storyline, introducing and following Bella, the wonder puppy, as she learns real-life lessons and figures out how to conquer the roughest days with help from those around her. Life is short, and therefore, humans and puppies alike must remember to communicate and reach out for help no matter the topics and no matter their ages. Author Terri Stephens-Higgins wrote the story of Bella Bean to emotionally touch both children and adults.
From the Author
Bella Bean has truly been a labor of love for me. I was diagnosed with seven brain tumors in April 2024. Throughout my journey, including two brain surgeries during the past year, I worked with Christian Faith Publishing to bring Bella Bean on Blueberry Lane to life.
KCCI-TV recently featured my story and this will give you a glimpse into my life, as well as Bella's dedication to educating children and adults about the importance of brain health, both mentally and physically.
