Join us in welcoming local fantasy author, Angela Funk, to celebrate the release of The World Beyond the Horizon! We will also have copies of The Heroic Facade and The Heroic Fallacy.
About the Author
Angela Funk is an up-and-coming indie fantasy author. Her love of writing came at a young age, a call to words she couldn't quite explain. As she traversed her path toward publishing, she became a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She currently works full time at a non-profit with adults with disabilities.
When she is not writing or daydreaming of fantastical worlds, she enjoys watching anime and reality TV, reading, taking photos via a polaroid and various crafting hobbies, such as embroidery and keychain making. Her cat-to-human ratio of pictures is also questionably large. She currently lives with her cat, Rory, and her fiancé.
About the Book
Upon the recent passing of Noah's mother, a long-lost relative invites him to dinner with her fiancé to reconnect. On the night they're set to meet, he stops by his mother's gravesite. There, by chance, he meets Celeste. They start a casual conversation that he finds odd yet intriguing—and then she tells him their planets are going to collide.
?Wait. Their planets?!
Suddenly burdened with the knowledge that not only are there other planets, but that his was crashing into hers, Celeste asks him if he'd like to help. And, well, how could he say no to saving the planet, much less two?
