During this program, we’ll showcase tools and research discoveries at the UI Carver College of Medicine that will help address the immediate and long-term effects of pregnancy-related disease. From cardiovascular disease to mental health concerns like depression, we’ll share the latest advancements aimed at improving outcomes for mothers, children, and the society at large.
Mini Medical School is designed to provide interactive experiences coupled with an engaging lecture breaking down cutting-edge research and biomedical discoveries at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
Space is limited, registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is free and open to the public. The program is targeted to adults 16 and older, no medical or science background necessary.
