Great Oaks High School and Career Center Open House

Des Moines, IA – 8/9/2024 – Great Oaks High School and Career Center, in partnership with La Q Buena, is thrilled to announce its Open House event on August 15th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will be held at 100 E Euclid Ave, Des Moines, and promises an engaging evening for all attendees with music, food, door prizes, and family-friendly activities. Great Oaks High School is the first charter high school in Iowa specifically designed to reengage high school dropouts. The school will serve students aged 16 to 21 who are working towards earning their high school diploma while focusing on career technical education. This Open House provides a valuable opportunity for the community, future students, and their families to explore the benefits of joining the Great Oaks family and to learn more about the diverse career paths available to students. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour our innovative learning spaces, which are designed to foster hands-on learning and real-world skills development. Our state-of-the-art facilities include specialized labs and interactive classrooms that support our focus on career technical education and student success.
