Fund the Future
Parent Rocker Organization Aurora will have a benefit concert on April 21, 2024 at the Wild Goose Saloon in Parker, CO. The fundraising event is 12:30 PM-6:00 PM and features seven local bands and one student band. $10.00 suggested donation at the door.
Since 2014, PRO Aurora partnered with School of Rock Aurora to loan 100s of instruments and award over $34,000 in music scholarships to students in need. School of Rock is a performance-based music school where students play real rock venues as they develop the skills, experience, and dreams of becoming musicians.
As music programs continued to be cut by dwindling school budgets, PRO Aurora fills the gap in our community by providing financial support to students whose families could not otherwise pay for private music school. This gives students an outlet to exercise their brains, engage their creativity and develop confidence through stage performance.
PRO Aurora was created when one of the founding School of Rock Aurora instructors, Tim Reece, lost his battle with cancer. The endowment provided by the family can no longer support the growing requests for student support.
Rock for a good cause. Pay the suggested donation of at least $10.00 and support local bands raise funds for the next generation of rockers!
