Bugs Frogs & Snakes is a genre defying Indie-Rock band from Northern Colorado. Offering the perfect blend of singer-songwriter ‘heart on your sleeve’ sentimentality with the theory-dense catharsis of Mathrock and Progressive Jazz, tied together with bright guitar leads, catchy ear worm choruses, and rich 3 part vocal harmonies.
Following the release of their debut album “You Did It!” In April 2025, The band has carved their own niche in the indie scene with a sound affectionately referred to as “Twee-Prog”.
Behind the Feel Good aesthetics apparent in their compositions, BF&S poetically tackles deeper themes of Recovery, Queer Identity, Community Building, Mental Health and Sobriety in their songwriting.
The band sites inspirations such as Glass Beach, Macseal, Cymbals, Vampire Weekend, Sujfian Stevens, Monobody, Snowing, Paul Simon, & Lucy Dacus in cultivating their unique sound.
