Highlands Ranch Genealogical Society January 2025 Program: Lock em up and Let em out
Join us at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at The Highlands Ranch LDS Stake Center, 9800 Foothills Canyon Blvd #B, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 for a presentation of "Lock em up and Let em out," by Marilyn Edwards Roberts, a look at the English Old Bailey Court system and how the court was used to transport people to the Colonies.
Marilyn Edwards Roberts has twenty-two years of genealogy experience and eighteen years as a professional genealogist, following in her father’s footsteps. She is past-president of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies and of the WISE-Family History Society, the National Co-chair of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), a member of the NSDAR Lineage Research Committee, (Regional Specialist, Region IV), 2nd Vice- Regent of Denver Chapter NSDAR Chaplain Maj General Alexander Macomb Chapter NSD 1812, writer for WISE-WORDS, Quarterly publication of WISE-FHS. She is a member of genealogical societies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Alabama, and Tennessee.
