Highlands Ranch Genealogical Society February 2024 Program: WISE Folk in the Colonial South
Join us at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at The Highlands Ranch LDS Stake Center, 9800 Foothills Canyon Blvd #B, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 for a presentation of “WISE Folk in the Colonial South,” by Marilyn Edward Roberts, and learn where and when the Welsh, Irish, Scottish, and English settled in the southern colonies and WHY.
Marilyn Edward Roberts has 18 years of experience in genealogy research. She specializes in Southern US, British Isles and Lineage Society genealogy. Marilyn has been a member of WISE-FHS (Wales-Ireland-Scotland-England Family History Society) since 2016 and is its current President. She also serves as the current President of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies. She is studying to become a Certified Genealogist and is a volunteer Genealogist on call for the Denver Public Library. Her passion is helping clients discover their lost heritage and to find and make connections with their cousins and other relatives.
Arrive early at 6:30 p.m. for networking with fellow genealogists. You never know who might have an answer to your most perplexing research problem.
Also, if you would like help using FamilySearch and the many other resources of the Highlands Ranch FamilySearch Center for your genealogical research, Kevin Cope, the Center Director, will again be available starting at six p.m. to assist anyone who comes at that time.
