This Fat Tuesday, The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa offers revelers an afternoon that combines the elegance of a traditional tea with the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. Indulge in decadent treats inspired by the Big Easy, from traditional King Cake and golden beignets along with traditional tea staples like buttery scones and tea sandwiches – paired with tea topped with Devonshire cream shipped directly from England – all while the soulful sounds of live jazz fill the iconic multi-story atrium. And because no Mardi Gras celebration is complete without a toast, an a la carte drink menu will feature Bourbon Street-inspired cocktails like the famous Hurricane, a classic Sidecar, and the bold Cherry Sazerac to elevate the fun and add an extra festive flair.
