Bare: A Pop Opera
Bare is the dramatic and poignant story of teenagers struggling with their identities at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. As senior year comes to an end, Peter, Jason, Matt, Ivy, and Nadia must navigate the challenges of love, sexuality, and religion as they rehearse a school production of Romeo and Juliet. The consequences of their choices will be their cross to bear for the rest of their lives.
Bare will be co-hosted by a local organization dedicated to the mental health of LGBTQ+ youth. Audience members will have the opportunity to join these groups for events surrounding each show, and to learn about their advocacy work. The Arts HUB is a proud "safe space" for the LGBTQ+ community, and as such we are proud to collaborate with these local organizations to advance their mission to support and protect local LGBTQ+ youth.
The Arts HUB Emerging Artists is an incubator program designed to foster new theatrical talent in the Front Range.
