Comfort and Comedy Festival

Miners Alley Performing Arts Center presents the first-ever Comfort and Comedy Festival, a two-week celebration of comedy, theatre, magic, music, and interactive performance across downtown Golden. The festival features Broadway performers, nationally touring comedians, and top Colorado talent in an intimate, local setting. Opening night on February 23 features the critically acclaimed Broadway’s Next Hit Musical, an interactive improv sensation. Additional headliners include musical comedy trio The Chalks, percussion comedy duo Buckets N’ Boards, Last Comic Standing winner Josh Blue, and New York–based comedy magician Peter Juris. The festival also includes improv theatre, magic shows, comedy showcases, the Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience, and hands-on workshops in juggling, improv, clowning, and stage combat. Festival programming takes place at Miners Alley Performing Arts Center, Buffalo Rose, Gnarly’s, Golden Mill, and outdoor locations throughout downtown Golden. Miners Alley’s mainstage productions, including The Odd Couple (Female Version), will also run during the festival. Tickets range from $5 to $55, with discounts available for multiple events.
