Beer Releases:  And They're Off! Dusting off a historical style, a Kentucky Common has its roots in a delicious traditional cream ale with a touch of crystal malt flavor. We used a touch of rye in the grain bill for additional spicy sweetness.   Down the Stretch Our beer version on a Mint Julep. This sour has just a touch of mint and was aged on charred oak spirals soaked in bourbon from Breckenridge Brewery.   Starting Tuesday April 30 and lasting up to the race, come to the brewery, and bet on a Kentucky Derby horse to win. All money collected will be donated to the Horse Protection League, a local Arvada organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses, donkeys and burros that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Win your bet and win anything from a free pour to multiple crowlers or growler fills.  The higher the odds, the better the loot!   On Saturday, wear a thematic derby hat to the taproom and get 10% off your tab! (No, not just a baseball cap or visor.)   Also, on Saturday from 3:30p up until race time, owners Cammy and Jeff will be hosting virtual horse racing with highly interactive and face-paced games of "Ready. Set. Bet." Each 15-20 min session will have a winner that gets a free beer! Must be 21 and older to play!   Post time for the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby is 4:57p!   After the race, stay for some live music from Nomad Neighbors from 5p to 8p! Visiting once again after a long absence from the taproom, Nomad Neighbors is a lively crew of Denver musicians bringing the best of indie folk, pop hits, and classic rock to LUKI! Free show!
