Kim Robards Dance - 23-24 Fall Season Opening - Reignite
KRD's 36th Fall Season “Reignite” will uplift audiences delivering world class dance from professional, multi-generational
modern dance company - Kim Robards Dance with original, critically acclaimed choreography by Artistic Director Kim
Robards; and virtuoso live music performed by musicians from Boulder Symphony at KRD's new peerless space, The
KRD Venue. Reignite will be presented on Saturday, November 4 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, November 5 at 3:00 PM at The
KRD Venue.
Enjoy the premier of Ms. Robards' lively new female quartet, Aperitif. Be embraced through the strong and sensual male
duet, In Quietude. The restaging of Befallen features the stamina and fortitude of KRD's female dancers. And go on a
journey with the expansion of Ms. Robards' evolving new work Inmigracion.
Kim Robards Dance features the diverse choreographic palette of Artistic Director Kim Robards’ repertoire, performed by
dancers whose ages span five decades. KRD interweaves the freshness of young professionals around the pillar
experience of seasoned professionals creating an artistic richness special to Kim Robards Dance.
The KRD Venue affords audiences an opportunity to witness KRD dancers fly through space on a full-size stage while
experiencing live dance and music in an intimate theater house setting where every seat provides an up-close powerful
visual and emotional experience.
The KRD Venue is located in the vibrant Chaffee Park area on Denver’s historic Northside at 1755 West 48th Avenue,
Denver, CO 80221, easily accessible on the northwest corner of I70 and Pecos. There is free off street parking in the
paved, adjacent lot on the north end of building.
