Heart to Art
Kim Robards Dance is noted for its viscerally powerful choreography, emotionally impactful works, and consistently engaging performances which may be absorbed for their thought-provoking content or simply enjoyed for their “waves of beautiful movement” as The New York Times wrote.
Audiences of all ages will be transported through Artistic Director Kim Robards' unique artistic vision and critically acclaimed, dynamic movement vocabulary. Be one of the first audience members engaged by KRD’s intimate One-Night-Only production "Heart to Art" in the Company’s beautiful, new peerless venue on Denver’s vibrant Northside.
“Heart to Art” is being presented by Kim Robards Dance, a multi-generational, award-winning, professional dance company, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 7:30 PM at The KRD Venue, 1755 West 48th Avenue, Denver, CO 80221.
KRD is presenting a diverse array of Ms. Robards’ works ranging from solos and duets to ensemble pieces. The heartfelt “Hearthside Suite” features each company member as audiences see into special moments with individual dancers whose ages span five decades. Ms. Robards' "Tilting Ground" duet gives audience members a look into the layers and complexities of relationships through the lens of truth and compassion. Premiering is Ms. Robards’ newest work “Inmigracion” an abstract representation of the immigration experiences of one of KRD’s male company members, sure to fill your heart with love and empathy.
“Heart to Art” is a touching passage from familiar experiences to worldly wise moments which will resonate with audiences of all ages.
Attendees receive a special commemorative glass with beverage. Tickets range from $15.00 to $70.00 for a special reserved Sweetheart Seats package. Single tickets and couples ticket packages are available with special ticket prices for children and seniors.
