Veterans Corner - Bring a picture of your Veteran or service member for our Hometown Hero Wall. Pin your last duty station, and gather with other veterans to enjoy the day!
VetFest is a family-friendly event that’s open to the public, celebrating and honoring the veterans in our community, and raising funds for local veterans in need through the DCVMF grant program.
The event will feature live music with sets by headliner Brent Hendrix. There will be food trucks and local breweries will be selling their brewed beverages. There will also be artist and vendor booths with merchandise for sale, a Kid’s Corner with Luigi’s Game Truck, Crafting Booth, face painting, balloon twister and more.
The Douglas County Veterans Monument Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps veterans in Douglas County, Colorado, through the generosity of the public. The money raised during events like VetFest supports the many requests the organization receives from local veterans in need. All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible through the IRS with the organization’s 501(c)3 charitable
foundation status, Tax ID# 27-2370488.
