Eric Havelock-Bailie: Yesterday and Yesterday
This summer at Edge I have two-part show called Yesterday & Yesterday. One part is a reprise of the second show I did there as a founding member in 1992. I gave a modified Diana to several people that had one roll of color film and gave them a week or so to take photos. Then I photographed their hands with a different modified Diana and showed two of those with one or two of their pieces. I have preserved the entire show and the film nicely for 30+ years. So a selection, not the entire show. I will also have a grid of 16 x 22" prints taken along roads like Interstate 25. These are what I am calling "rephotography of my memories". So kind of a nod to someone like Mark Klett but really more in line with my memory obsession and how I came to be "here”.
