Thornton, Westminster, Northglenn #WorkersOverBillionaires Labor Day
This Labor Day, we gather not just for celebration, but to stand together as working people. Across the country, unions and communities are rising to say: our voices matter, and our work deserves respect.
On Sunday, September 1st, we’ll be on the sidewalks near 104th & Washington in Thornton, 10 AM – Noon, joining thousands of others nationwide in solidarity. Together, we are building a stronger movement—one that protects good jobs, strong schools, healthcare, housing, and dignity for every family.
Our shared demands:
A government that serves working people, not billionaires.
Protection for Social Security, Medicaid, and the programs families count on.
Fully funded schools, healthcare, and housing for all.
Respect and safety for immigrants, Black, Indigenous, trans people, and all communities.
Investment in people and peace, not endless wars.
Unions show us what’s possible when we stand together. This Labor Day, let’s keep building a fairer, stronger future—for all of us.
⚠️ Our gatherings are peaceful and rooted in nonviolence. Please help us keep it that way by avoiding confrontation and leaving weapons at home.
