Pop Art for Teens
Pop Art was an art movement that emerged in the 1950s that drew inspiration using sources from popular culture such as movies and music. Teens will explore the colorful dynamic world of Pop Art. Students will focus on drawing and painting as they create their own Pop Art inspired piece. Any subject matter and drawing style is welcome and students are encouraged to unleash their creativity. Throughout the class we will work on perspective and adding depth into our drawing to create a three-dimensional effect. Let’s get popping! Class will take place Thursdays, April 6 through April 27 and is for ages 11 to 16.
