Mixed Media Series - Create with Modeling Paste
Pick up a palette knife and get ready to create with modeling paste and acrylics. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn a variety of approaches to creating abstract artwork with different types of modeling pastes. Be inspired by demonstrations, artwork images, and compositions that will be shared to spark the creative process. Students will receive lots of individual attention as they see their modeling paste and acrylic artwork emerge on the canvas.
Mixed Media Series - Spend a fun filled Saturday discovering the amazing world of mixed media! In this series of workshops experience how to use a variety of materials and techniques to create a work of art. Each workshop will feature a different mixed media technique. Students will be guided on how to work with the materials through the instructor’s engaging and educational teaching style. Aspects of abstract composition and what makes a piece of art “work” will be discussed. Instructor will guide students through “chalk talks,” demos and students will receive lots of individual attention. Mixed Media Series is taught by Candace French and all supplies are provided.
