Mixed Media Crash Course Intermediate
In this one-day workshop, students will be exposed to various mixed media layering techniques with an emphasis on collage. Collage is a flexible, adaptive way to work that can refresh your way of seeing and using materials to create a painting. This is the perfect workshop for intermediate and advanced artists who want to take their mixed media skills to the next level.
Students will work on their own subject matter of choice, make their own personal collage paper, and use other materials such as magazines, decorative papers, paint, stencil, and pencil. We will discuss color, value, and composition as we combine papers and mixed media to create pieces. Includes both demonstrations and examples, as well as regular feedback from the instructor. All supplies provided and workshop is taught by Behnaz Ahmadian.
