Making Your Mark Alternative Printmaking Techniques
Printmaking is defined as transferring an image from a matrix onto another surface. In this 2-day workshop we will explore that transfer process in a very loose and experimental way using simple tools and techniques that yield surprising results. Think monotypes, collagraphs, gelli prints; making and using stamps and stencils, positive and negative shapes, printing with found objects, etc. Participants will build their own personal vocabulary of shape, texture, and color. We will print on a variety of papers, each print informing the next. All materials provided, come and be part of this creative experimentation. Workshop is taught by Victoria Eubanks
