After School Art Studio - Button Balloons
We are going to be floating up high into the clouds as we create this fun collage painting. We will first be painting with acrylics on canvas to create a sky background. Students will learn how to create value and texture in a painting, and they will get to add clouds, the sun or moon or other elements to their background. Then we will use a variety of colorful buttons to make hot air balloons! Students will get to make as many as they want in all different shapes and sizes. Class is for age 6 to 12 and taught by Lauren Brant.
After School Art Studio - Come to the Curtis Center after school to let out your inner artist! At our After School Art Studio, we will be making a new work of art at each program. We will be painting, collaging, having fun with mixed media and other mediums and techniques to create unique works of art. Join us for one studio class or all of them!
