Workshop: How to Preserve Your Collection

6:30-7:30 p.m. Workshop
James Squires, CSM’s chief conservator, will discuss Still’s conservation philosophy and practical tips on how best to preserve your own work. Participants will also explore the process of mixing paints, something that Still frequently did himself. The exhibition on view, Spotlight: Inside Collections Care and Conservation highlights how the Museum stewards and preserves collections for future generations through careful display; scientific and historical research; and art conservation.
This program is $5 for the public, free for CSM members, and registration is required to attend in person at the Clyfford Still Museum.
