Join Us for an Exciting Tennis Event Benefiting Tall Tales Ranch! Tall Tales Ranch and Club Greenwood are teaming up to host a tennis event on March 29th to raise funds for Tall Tales Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado. The event features two exciting components: a Youth Tennis Event for ages 5-18 and a Pre-USTA Season Tournament for competitive doubles teams. For more details on the event: Pre-USTA Season Tennis Tournament Friday, March 28th & Saturday, March 29th A competitive doubles tournament for men’s and women’s teams, offering players of all skill levels a chance to sharpen their game on Club Greenwood’s Clay Courts while supporting a meaningful cause! Details: Divisions: Levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 for men’s and women's doubles. 8 teams per division. Format: Doubles, single-elimination play. Friday: First-round matches, 3:00pm Saturday: Semifinal matches and championship play, 4-7pm. Special Competitions: Don’t miss out on exciting challenges like fastest serve, target hits, and exhibition rounds with fantastic prizes on Saturday, March 29th from 4:00pm-7:00pm for anyone registered! Registration includes: Complimentary breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Each player also gets a goodie bag. Why Participate: This tournament raises funds for Tall Tales Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado. It's also a great opportunity to get some practice in ahead of the USTA season on the amazing indoor clay courts at Club Greenwood. Registration Deadline: March 17th --- Tennis Event Saturday, March 29th | 4 PM - 7 PM A family-friendly event designed for ages 5-adult to enjoy tennis, games, and activities while supporting a great cause! Details: Cost: $75 per child OR $200 family rate (up to 3 children). Activities: Fun and friendly competitions, games, tennis drills, and activities led by Tennis Pro, Peggy Bernardis and Club Greenwood Tennis Pros, OR an exhibition match for competitive youth players. What’s Included: Complimentary lunch, snacks, and a goodie bag for each participant. Registration Deadline: March 17th Fundraising Challenge: Each participant is encouraged to help raise funds for Tall Tales Ranch leading up to the event. Whether it’s $50, $500 or $1,000, every dollar raised supports programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each registrant is encouraged to find sponsors and/or donors to sponsor their fitness efforts and be sponsored for every 100 jumps up and down. The top 3 fundraisers will be recognized and receive great prizes! 100% of proceeds benefit Tall Tales Ranch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Time line on Saturday, March 29th: 4:00pm- Ages 5-12 (and accompaning family members) - Red, Orange and Green Ball 5:00pm- Award Ceremony, featuring the top fundraisers. The 4 top fundraisers from highschool tennis teams will be eligible to play with Club Greenwood Pros. 5:30pm- Pro-varsity high school player exhibition games-drills 6:00-7:00pm- Adults and juniors (13 and over) Fastest Serve Competition 6:00-7:00pm- Drills and Games with focus of Hit Targets for Prizes
