IRIE STILL is a Colorado based Reggae/ World Beat band, having only the finest of Denver's professional musicians as members.
Their deeply spiritual leader Ronny Noel hails from the Caribbean twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies. Their style is steeped first and foremost in the authentic danceable beats of Reggae, with incorporated elements of Soca, Dancehall, Calypso, Ska, Afro Beat and Tribal Rhythms combined with conscious lyrics.
Over their lengthy career they have shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, Toots and the Maytals, Eek-A-Mouse, Culture, Israel Vibrations, Dub Syndicate, Jimmy Cliff, Pato Banton, Yellow man, The Wailers, Midnite and many more.
Currently based in Denver, IRIE STILL headlines many shows in and around the Denver Metro area, Boulder, the Colorado Front Range and Western Slope mountain towns. IRIE STILL is an overwhelming powerhouse onstage. Playing mostly original music mixed with popular covers., the band incorporates audience participation, captivating vocal harmony and thought provoking political and spiritual consciousness into a sizzling hot live set.
