Heritage Fine Arts Guild Presents: Umbrellas in Your World with Phyllis VandeHaar Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Ascension Lutheran Church, 1701 W. Caley Ave., Littleton, CO The Heritage Fine Arts Guild invites artists of all levels to join us for a playful, imaginative workshop led by renowned artist and instructor Phyllis VandeHaar. In Umbrellas in Your World, participants will explore the umbrella as a powerful design element—moving far beyond rainy-day scenes into bold, colorful, whimsical, or thought-provoking artistic creations. This one-day workshop encourages you to think “outside the box” as you transform the umbrella into a canvas for storytelling, nostalgia, humor, history, or pure pattern and design. Whether you choose to focus on a single oversized umbrella or use its iconic form as a repeating motif, the possibilities are endless. Participants will leave inspired, with new ways to spark imagination and joy in their work.
