Foothills Genealogical Society Potluck and Show & Tell 2.0
The FhGS Potluck Luncheon will be held at noon before the general meeting on Wednesday, May 8. Show & Tell 2.0 will follow featuring artifacts and
memorabilia unearthed by FhGS members over the past 50 plus years. Enjoy lunch, browse the displays and talk with the member presenters.
Lunch will be served promptly at 12:00 noon in Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St., Golden. Please bring a dish sharable for 8 or more to the lower-level of the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 a.m. Label any dish containing nuts or fish and any utensils. Last names beginning with letter A thru G – bring a dessert; H thru Q – bring a main dish; R thru Z – bring a salad or vegetable dish. After lunch, the meeting will begin with the induction of new officers and special recognition of members followed by the Show & Tell 2.0 program by FhGS members.
For 43 years, Foothills Genealogical Society has supported genealogical research with educational programs, classes and field trips and by preserving and publishing historical records from Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson and Park counties.
