Jaymie Middendorf, DPL Genealogy and Special Collections Librarian, will present "What Can Genealogists Find in the Denver Public Library?" The Denver Public Library (DPL) offers one of the nation’s premier genealogy collections and it is a top organization for genealogical research. Meet Jaymie as she takes you on a virtual tour of the library’s vast and unique collections. She’ll discuss how to find materials to help your family history research, how to use DPL’s extensive genealogy services, and how to use this nationally renowned library.
Jaymie is a genealogist and public librarian with a passion for helping others find their family history and she has helped hundreds of people discover their roots. She holds a certificate of Genealogical Research from Boston University, owns Good Omen Genealogy, and is Vice President of the National Danish-American Genealogical Society. Originally from Chicago, Jaymie relocated to Denver in 2023 to serve the Mile High City as Genealogy and Special Collections Librarian at the DPL.
Guests are welcome for this free presentation at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St., Golden, CO. There is ample parking and accessible entrance.
