To commemorate the 250/150 here in Adams County, we are honored to be unveiling a 48-star flag that flew over the USS Colorado as it fought in World War II. This original 48-star flag was donated to Adams County by the family of a servicemember who served on the ship during the war. Flowers will be available throughout Memorial Day weekend for visitors to pay their respects at the Veterans Memorial.
