Helping Hands Repair Cafe
Don't Pitch It - Fix It for FREE!
At free Helping Hands Repair Cafe events, people bring all sorts of broken appliances, toys, electronics, clothing, and jewelry and work with volunteer coaches to learn hands-on repair skills, while fixing their once loved item. Tools and repair coaches are available at no cost to the attendee. (Exceptions
There is a global repair revolution underway, with Repair Cafes popping up all over the United States to reduce landfill waste and lower carbon footprints. On May 28, 2024, Governor Jared Polis signed Colorado’s third Right to Repair law in three years, further cementing the state’s leadership in protecting consumers’ repair rights. The law took effect on January 1, 2026, officially establishing Colorado as a Right to Repair state.
Celebrate Earth Month when you take the time to repair a once loved item on April 25 from 12p - 3p at First Plymouth UCC. This event is in partnership with several community churches, but attendees do not have to belong to a church to join the event.
